Creating a multi-functional space that focuses on both the member and employee experience

The previous Nashua branch had closed amidst the pandemic, with plans to relocate to a property they purchased on Broad St. in Nashua. The new location sits on a busy intersection near a bustling shopping center. Granite State Credit Union recently went through a brand refresh exercise resulting in a fresh and modern logo that honors the beauty of the New Hampshire landscape.

With the new rebranded design, heightened service has been prioritized. Interactive teller machines (ITM’s) are amongst the many features that help to shape the customer experience. Important goals for Granite State Credit Union were to:

  • Carry their new logo and branding elements throughout the branch.
  • Give an elevated experience for members.
  • Emphasis on creating a space that cultivates employee success.

convenience for members

The design of the new branch is adaptive to the changing pandemic restrictions, featuring a 4-lane drive-up with ITM’s in each lane. The branch also features access to private offices from the outside, creating alternate entrances from the standard lobby entrance. These features give an enhanced sense of safety to members.

fostering work-life balance

For the back-office areas, it was very important to create a space that had an equal focus on the employee experience and designed with growth in mind. The back-office areas are bright, inviting and carry GSCU’s new branding elements throughout. With two break-rooms, an outdoor patio, fitness center and private phone booth, it creates an environment that fosters a positive work-life balance.
