Branch Site Analysis

Element will evaluate the demographic and competitive environment surrounding your proposed location to build complete financial projections for the branch. The evaluation recommends whether to proceed with the project and discusses the primary indicators, risks, and alternatives.

Branch Network Optimization

Supported by rigorous demographic and financial modeling, our process starts with learning your institution’s guiding principles and strategic objectives.

  • Our input yields efficient branch networks aligned with the opportunity available in each of your institution's market areas.
  • Our optimization projects produce a three- to five-year plan for branch openings and closings, and for bank acquisitions.
  • Using your institution's own financial model, our analysis produces detailed financial projections for all submarkets.

Retail Staffing Models

Staffing your branch and call centers appropriately is critical to productivity, service quality, and efficiency. In the Retail Staffing Review, we will examine transaction levels, sales demand, call volumes, and other branch attributes in order to recommend the appropriate staff configuration.

Market Analysis & Branch Planning

General ledger and cost accounting systems may not accurately represent branch profitability due to the skewed nature of a branch’s balance sheet. A useful profitability report impounds the value of deposit dollars gathered, the impact of transactions run beyond the branch of account, and other non-accounting issues. Such reports must also include the proper summary measures, as bank level statistics such as ROA or EPS may prove inappropriate for assessing the value of a branch.

We had a vision and everyone at Element bought into it right away with their customizations. Nothing Element did was off the shelf. What resulted was a welcoming space that physically shows our connectedness to the community and helps us deliver on our mission — to provide strong financial futures for Montanans.
