At the end of October, The Element Group will join credit union marketers and industry partners at the Marketing Association of Credit Unions (MAC) Conference in Fort Lauderdale, FL. What makes this association stand out from others is that it is fully run by an elected volunteer board of directors.

MAC is an annual event that brings together marketing and retail leaders from across the country to celebrate client success, share new ideas, and strengthen relationships within the community. Member experience is central to The Element Group’s mission, and that same spirit of collaboration drives our presence at the event.

Element’s Role and Presence

Trevor Riley, who serves on the MAC Board of Directors, will attend alongside Jackson Cogger from our team. Together, they will represent The Element Group at booth #29 and throughout the event.

Trevor was introduced to MAC through Ryan Hirata, VP Marketing Manager of Hawaii State Federal Credit Union , a long-time client who will be speaking on Day 2 on behalf of The Element Group. The focus of Ryan’s speech will be on digital signage and in-branch promotional products.

The Element Group’s booth will highlight Amplifi solutions and digital signage. We will showcase the impact digital solutions have inside branches, from interactive monitors to ITM screens and QR codes. Attendees can expect insights on connecting branch design, data and customer experience.

Real Results: Digital Engagement in Action

Avidia Bank: Digital Signage:

  • Avidia Bank partnered with The Element Group to modernize its branch experience using digital signage and tailored messaging.
  • Result: Increased in-branch engagement and stronger brand recognition for both retail and business customers.
  • Digital signage now highlights community content and local partnerships, creating more meaningful branch engagement.

QR Code Giveaway Success Story:

  • One of our clients used a QR code giveaway to connect with community members at local events.
  • The landing page included an optional question about financial products participants wanted to learn more about – turning a fun giveaway into a powerful lead-generation tool.

The Results:

  • 5,154 participants entered the giveaway.
  • 2,134 participants (41%) were non-members; brand new leads.
  • 2,307 participants (45%) expressed interest in learning more about a product.

The Follow-Up Strategy:

  • The client immediately follows up while the brand connection is still fresh.
  • Leads are invited into the branch for personalized conversations.
Takeaway: Digital Signage and community events turn visibility into insight.

Looking Ahead: Webinars and Awards

As an affiliate member of MAC, The Element Group plans to continue supporting the organization beyond the conference through webinars. These sessions are designed to spotlight actual credit union success stories.

The Element Group also works with clients to submit their projects for the MAC Awards, which recognize excellence in marketing and retail design. Categories include retail experience, digital engagement, and many more. It’s another way we’re helping our clients share their success stories and learn from each other.

Closing

Every conversation at MAC reminds us that connection is at the heart of every strong brand. At The Element Group, we’re proud to support that community by helping institutions design smarter spaces, strong connections, and more meaningful member experiences.
