New Branch Build Case Study: BankOnBuffalo

PROJECT OVERVIEW

The BankOnBuffalo Transit & French branch in Depew, NY is part of CNB’s systemwide SMART Banking Centers. The Element Group developed the SMART Center prototype to give CNB a branch model that improves efficiency and brand recognition during a full network rollout.

The Transit & French location is a new branch build that applies the standardized SMART Center model, adapted to the site conditions and branded for BankOnBuffalo.

Standard digital package including SMART Wall technology, video wall, resource center touchscreen, and Kids Zone interactive
Localized environmental graphics for the BankOnBuffalo brand

Results

The Transit & French branch opened with lower design costs, a faster path to completion, and a consistent banking experience aligned with CNB’s network strategy. This branch demonstrates the strength of the SMART Center prototype as a scalable, cost-effective new build solution.

CNB Bank Proto Model Execution: Project Highlights

CNB Bank partnered with The Element Group to design a new prototype branch model applicable to all divisions, including BankOnBuffalo, ERIEBANK, FCBank, and Ridge View Bank. The aim was to develop a versatile retail model that could be quickly implemented, suitable for both new constructions and renovations, and provide a uniform customer experience across different markets.
