The Element Group Celebrates the One Year Appointment of Richard Brattland as Executive Director of Design & Implementation

December 9, 2020

Richard Brattland, Executive Director of Design & Implementation

Portsmouth, New Hampshire The Element Group is celebrating the one year anniversary of Richard Brattland joining the Company as Executive Director of Design & Implementation.

Before joining Element, Brattland served as the Vice President/Director Corporate Real Estate of Popular Bank for seven and a half years where he was responsible for facility management, project management, lease administration, transaction management, and security for the U.S. based branches.

Brattland stated, It’s amazing how quickly a year can pass by. In my first year at The Element Group, I have witnessed first hand over and over again what I already knew as a client of Element. William and Nate have built a customer centric organization focusing on each client individually and creating amazing spaces that are truly customized to each of our clients. Our clients are the focus of our organization and the heartbeat of our organization are the employees of Element who come to work each day to create unique and functional spaces that drive. This past year has brought a great deal of learning for me. It has also shown me that we can meet the needs of any client and we can customize an experience that is like no other. I’m very proud to be part of such an outstanding team.

Rick has been a huge help to me and our credit union over the past year, Robb Scott, President and CEO of Copper State Credit Union, commented. He was instrumental in making sure our new operations center building was ready and helped arrange our very complicated move. A move that occurred while finishing the space right before a big conversion and during a pandemic. His constant optimism and connecting people to the get the job done was needed and appreciated. I believe his past experience as banking executive provides him a unique shared perspective about all of the organizations moving parts.

Scott continued with Rick has a strong desire to serve and to make sure clients are satisfied. He’s also not afraid to show leadership and help nudge folks to obvious solutions when needed. Rick has been and will continue to be a valuable resource and partner to our credit union.

As Element continues to grow, reach its goals and the goals of its clients, the Company will benefit from Brattland’s wealth of experience and strong leadership.

William Foley, Co-Founder of The Element Group, remarked, Rick has worked closely with his Design and Implementation staff to improve communication and efficiency. He has developed and enforced policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations with staff, vendors and clients. Rick has been invaluable in securing client retention during his first year with Element. We are thrilled to have Rick on Team Element!

Brattland is responsible for all aspects of design and implementation across the entire suite of The Element Group projects. He leads a team of designers, architects, graphic designers, working concept design, digital design, architectural design and project managers.
