Who are you interning under, what do they have you do, and out of all your responsibilities which is your favorite/most interesting?

I am currently a marketing intern working under Doug and Bryn. My main responsibilities include managing and distributing content across all our social media platforms, including Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube. The responsibility I’m most interested in and excited to work on is helping with the company podcast as well as making various shorts for the company.

Where do/did you go to school and what subject do/did you major in?

I just finished up my freshman year at Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio. I haven’t yet declared my major, but as of now, I am thinking about being a History major, and an English minor.

How did you first become interested in your field of study?

History has always been something I’ve been interested in, and I’ve always enjoyed learning about different events and time periods through movies and books. The history classes I’ve taken over time have taught me how to think critically and communicate my work creatively and analytically. As a marketing intern, these skills allow me to understand the target audience, as well as present the information creatively and effectively.

Have you interned here before, if not, have you interned elsewhere?

I have not interned here before, but last summer I worked as a marketing intern at Imtra, which is a boating parts company in New Bedford, Massachusetts.

Do you have any pets?

Yes, I have a golden retriever named Hazel, and a tuxedo cat named Scratch.

If you could go to dinner with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be? Why?

I would want to go to dinner with Neil Armstrong because I would want to ask all my burning questions about his mission to the moon. I’ve been fascinated by the moon landing ever since I was a kid, and I’ve watched many documentaries and movies about it. Even after watching them, I’m still left with several questions that I would really want him to answer.

If you could travel to anywhere in the world, where would you go, why, and who would you take with you?

I’ve always wanted to travel to Iceland with my family. It looks very beautiful, and I’ve always wanted to see the northern lights. Iceland would be an incredible place to see them, as well as hike and sightsee.

What is your favorite app and why?

My favorite app is YouTube. I’ve always liked watching sports highlights, and recently I’ve been watching lots of golf content creators. The first YouTube channel I watched was Dude Perfect, and I still sometimes go back and rewatch some of their old videos.

What is on your bucket list?

One thing that is on my bucket list is to go skydiving. A lot of my high school friends have done it and it’s something very high on my list. The photos they’ve shown me from their jumps are incredible and it’s something I’d love to do.

Fall, winter, spring, or summer? Why?

My favorite season is fall especially in New Hampshire. I love how dramatic it is when the leaves begin changing colors. Although it is sad to watch the warm weather begin to get colder, there is always excitement for the first snowfall and upcoming holidays.

Thanks for the interview and your hard work, Henry!
