account executive

Responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in assigned market. Focused on the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. Establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area and contributes to the development of training and educational programs for clients and account executives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Market Element’s suite of services to all Financial Institutions in the assigned market with minimal supervision
  • Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability
  • Executes action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects
  • Attend various trade shows exhibiting the company’s suite of services as directed by senior management
  • Develops and implements marketing plans and campaigns as needed
  • Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin
  • Submits accurate records of all pricings, sales and activities reports
  • Creates and conducts proposal presentation and RFP responses
  • Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines
  • Adheres to all company policies, travel policies, procedures and business ethics codes
  • This is a remote position


  • Responsible to meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals and closing the sale
  • Demonstrate personal character, commitment, organizational skills, selling skills and work habits
  • Maintains contact with all customers/clients in the assigned market to ensure high levels of client satisfaction
  • Demonstrates ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees
  • Serves as a mentor to less experienced account executives

Knowledge and Skills

  • Digital expertise and sales experience with financial and retail environments
  • Learn, understand, and utilize HubSpot
    • Create Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities
    • Record business opportunities, related phone calls, meetings, emails, visits. Link to the proper contact and opportunity (if applicable)
    • Record information in the form of notes and comments
    • Attach documentation / photos / plans / agreements
  • Learn, understand, and utilize Box – Element’s virtual file cabinet
  • Expense reporting: Complete expenses reports as directed by senior management
  • Travel Calendar: submit travel plans for upcoming travel weekly
  • Results-driven and able to collaborate with management and colleagues to share responsibility for end-to-end solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate and influence at all levels
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products

Education and Certifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
  • Relevant continuing education, seminars, Tradeshows, Conferences
  • 5 Years Industry Experience
